A user plane function receives from a session management function, a first message requesting at least one quality of service (QoS) report for a data flow of a wireless device. The first message comprising: a first information element indicating a QoS event; and a second information element indicates a latency value for the QoS event. A user plane function sends to the wireless device, monitoring packets for monitoring a packet transmission latency of the data flow. The user plane function determines an occurrence of the QoS event based on the packet transmission latency of the data flow and the latency value. The user plane function sends to the session management function, a second message comprising a third information element indicating the occurrence of the QoS event for the data flow.

Abstract

A wireless device receives at least one radio resource control message comprising one or more configuration parameters of a cell. A control order for transmission of a random access preamble is received via the cell. A transmission power is determined for the random access preamble based on a pathloss measurement. When the one or more configuration parameters comprise one or more parameters of a channel state information reference signal (CSI-RS) for the cell: the pathloss measurement is based on the CSI-RS; and the determining the transmission power employs a power offset value indicated by the one or more configuration parameters. When the one or more configuration parameters do not comprise CSI-RS parameters for the cell: the pathloss measurement is based on at least one synchronization signal; and the determining the transmission power does not employ the power offset value. The random access preamble is transmitted based on the transmission power.

Abstract

A method for a user equipment (UE) to receive physical downlink control channels (PDCCHs) is provided. The UE receives configuration information for a first control resource set that includes a number of symbols in a time domain and a number of resource blocks (RBs) in a frequency domain, configuration information indicating a first number of Nbundle,1 frequency-contiguous RBs, and a PDCCH in the first control resource set in a number of frequency distributed blocks of Nbundle,1 RBs. The UE assumes that a demodulation reference signal associated with the reception of the PDCCH has a same precoding over the Nbundle,1 RBs. A method for constructing a search space to reduce a number of channel estimations that the UE performs for decoding PDCCHs, relative to conventional search spaces, is also provided.

Abstract

Described is a system, integrated circuit and method for reducing ineffectual computations in the processing of layers in a neural network. One or more tiles perform computations where each tile receives input neurons, offsets and synapses, and where each input neuron has an associated offset. Each tile generates output neurons, and there is also an activation memory for storing neurons in communication with the tiles via a dispatcher and an encoder. The dispatcher reads neurons from the activation memory and communicates the neurons to the tiles and reads synapses from a memory and communicates the synapses to the tiles. The encoder receives the output neurons from the tiles, encodes them and communicates the output neurons to the activation memory. The offsets are processed by the tiles in order to perform computations only on non-zero neurons. Optionally, synapses may be similarly processed to skip ineffectual operations.

Abstract

A transmitter is provided. The transmitter includes: an outer encoder configured to encode input bits to generate outer-encoded bits including the input bits and parity bits; a zero padder configured to generate a plurality of bit groups each of which is formed of a same number of bits, maps the outer-encoded bits to some of the bits in the bit groups, and pads zero bits to remaining bits in the bit groups, based on a predetermined shortening pattern, thereby to constitute Low Density Parity Check (LDPC) information bits; and an LDPC encoder configured to encode the LDPC information bits, wherein the remaining bits in which zero bits are padded include some of the bit groups which are not sequentially disposed in the LDPC information bits.

Abstract

Television (TV) broadcast signal transmitting apparatus and transmitting method are disclosed. The apparatus comprises: an encoder configured to encode information bits comprising input bits to generate parity bits; a puncturer configured to puncture one or more bits of the parity bits based on the calculated number; a mapper configured to map the input bits and remaining parity bits after puncturing onto constellation points; a signal generator configured to generate a broadcast signal based on the constellation points; and a transmitter configured to transmit the broadcast signal. A plurality of modes comprises a first mode and a second mode. If the mode is the first mode, the A is 0, the B is 11460, and the input bits are based on the first signaling information. If the mode is the second mode, the A is 2, the B is 6036, and the input bits are based on the second signaling infounation.
