Abstract

By extracting clinical data of any format from respective different sources, a data repository normalized to a generic format is created. A medical domain specific language may be used to interact with the data repository for identifying cohorts and gaps in care for the respective cohorts. Any rules for finding gaps in care are converted into the medical domain specific language for determining gaps. Abstract

A stroke detection system analyzes images of a person's face over time to detect asymmetric changes in the position of certain reference points that are consistent with sagging or drooping that may be symptomatic of a stroke or TIA. Methods and systems are provided for detecting objects or patient safety events in a patient room. Artificial intelligence is utilized to enhance safety issue recognition capabilities by the methods and systems. Sensors collect a series of images and depth data in a room of a patient. Decision support technology is provided for use with patients who may experience respiratory deterioration. A mechanism is provided to determine whether a patient is experiencing (or is likely to experience at a future time) an autoimmune inflammatory event, which may include performing a spectral analysis on a time series of nocturnal or axillary temperatures for the patient to determine a spectrum slope or intercept. The time series may be demeaned, detrended, and apodized before performing the spectral analysis.
